ONE of the most established golf clubs in Singapore, Sentosa Golf Club was opened by Singapore's then-Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew in 1974. With over 1,500 members, including local and overseas politicians and the who's who of Singapore's high society, Sentosa Golf Club is the golf club of choice for politicians, dignitaries and celebrities alike.
Sentosa Golf Club is also home to Asia's biggest National Golf Tournament - the Barclays Singapore Open, some of the world's top players and some of Asia's top golfers grace our fairways. These include last year's Barclays Singapore Open winner Angel Cabrera, Phil Mickelson, two-time winner Adam Scott (2005 and 2006), Vijay Singh, Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood and Thongchai Jaidee.
THE CLUB boasts two magnificent championship 18-hole golf courses and is highly regarded as one of the best golf destinations in Asia. With ever-changing views from every hole that is at once dynamic and utterly dramatic, this golf club is an oasis of tranquility that few can duplicate in this region. Capitalising on Sentosa's natural and historical heritage, both the Serapong and Tanjong courses boast fairways lined with verdant greenery and soothing vistas of either the Singapore harbour or South China Sea.
